All remote I-9 authorized representatives are background screened, insured, and provided with ongoing training that helps to prevent mishandling of PII. PIN is stored on servers that are located in a SSAE 16 compliant data center. This private cloud environment undergoes monthly scans to ensure the highest level of security.
Once a request has been received by N3 Notary, it will be assigned to a local agent in the area where the employee is located. The employee will receive a text message providing them with the name and phone number of the agent and the employee information will be shared with said agent. Once at the appointment, the agent will review the IDs provided and work with the employees to ensure section 1 and 2 of the I9 have been completed properly. Once it is completed, the agent will collect the I9 as well as ID copies and securely upload them to N3 Notary. A team member will then review the I9 to make sure it has been filled out correctly before making it available to your team as a pdf download through your online account.
